Eleanor Mills is the founder and editor in chief of Noon, a new website, platform and community to empower women in midlife. An award- winning Editor, Eleanor spent 23 years at The Sunday Times as a columnist, Editorial Director and Editor of the Sunday Times magazine. Her long list of interviewees include Mikhail Gorbachev, David Cameron and we cant forget the famous leather trouser debacle with Theresa May.
Eleanor has consistently shown up for women through out her career and was chair of Women in Journalism from 2014-2021 so it's no surprise that her next venture has been creating the empowering midlife platform and community, Noon.org.uk. Noon was born through Eleanors frustration at the lack of positive and honest representation of women in midlife in the media.
Eleanor talks openly about life after being made redundant in 2020, how she learnt to embrace this next chapter and her story epitomises the reason why I wanted to start the Liberte Free to Be podcast, sharing positive stories of women in midlife who are trailblazing and leading the way.
Subjects covered-
I love the work that Noon are already doing and Eleanor has a power house team of strong women involved so it's exciting to see how it will develop.
Go check out the website here- Noon.org.uk
You can also keep up to date with Noon across social media- Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin
